I am a firm believer that neither language nor $ should be a barrier when it comes to healing and that doing it as a collective and community effort is and will always be more effective than the individualistic route.
I also believe that whenever we have privilege, it is our responsibility to see how we may use it to help others.
I am not yet in a place where I can give out dozens of books to those who can not afford them at the moment but I will start this initiative with 5 and then let others become sponsors to help other heal through my poetry.

Here Are the Tears I You We Didn't Cry is a 380+ page book. It contains cartas de amor in the form of poetry for those in the process of understanding and healing their inner child. The poems in this book are an ode and homage to our past, present and future selves as well as a testimony of what it is to be the oldest daughter in a Mexican/Latine family haunted by unbroken generational trauma. It tells the story of love outside of the romantic: amor a la familia, a la cultura, our country, nuestra nostalgia, our inner child, our identity and a love for collective hope. The book is half in the original Spanglish and half translated to Spanish.
The book, from front, interior to back cover is designed by the author herself.
